Morpheus Peer Response

p2pnet.net News:- “Morpheus is to digital media content what Yahoo and Google are to web search,” says StreamCast Networks ceo Mike Weiss.

With that in mind, the company, owner of the p2p application Morpheus, has launched Peer Response so users can search Morpheus, find authorized content and then buy it through its new eWallet system.

And, “self-publishers will be provided with automated tools to distribute their content,” says StreamCast.

The new service will launch with a full slate of music, game, and video downloadable titles to try and buy, says the company.

“Peer Response leverages existing file-searching behavior to convert downloaders into customers,” says StreamCast ceo Michael Weiss.

Peer Response platform will kick off with Halo 2, From Russia with Love, Monopoly, Tha Outlawz “Celebrate,” Ms. Cherry “It’s Whatever,” and more than one million video, music, game and software titles will be added in the coming months.

Content owners are paid through sale or sponsorship of a single download in an open and decentralized p2p environment, “or simply gain exposure by allowing consumers to discover and download their content for free,” says Weiss. “Content can also be leveraged as an intermediary web page, giving consumers detailed information about the title, or offer a streaming sample, so users can make informed decisions on a future purchase.”

The integrated Morpheus eWallet payment application was developed specifically for Morpheus by Media Global Infrastructure LLC, whose payment processing subsidiary, NewGenPay is an IBM spin-off.

So does this mean the end of the old network? Not that I really care, just wanna know. Oh great! We all should listen to Streamcast, and become consumers. Don’t ya think? hahahaha. Funny how people change their sayings. Hey lets all get legal! Haha

Be Interesting to see them Sell Halo 2 a Xbox exclusive game unless they are just selling it like a website sells games .How old fashioned for digital media in 2005 .

  3. DDT-WEBKINZ Says:

We wanted to clear up a misconception about the nine localized sites we launched on June 19: the content has not been “broken down” by region. All of your videos are available to everyone, no matter which site you set as your default. So even if you choose a particular country as your preference, the content available to you is still the same.

But I thought Al Gore invented the internet …
