p2pnet - rss feed: p2pnet ‘Help’ campaign
p2pnet.net News- We’re at Day Five of our effort to raise $2,500. And from the look of it, we’ve achieved about 10% of our goal, or perhaps just a tad more.
The appeal came off the top spot today. But we’ll keep on with it for a while longer with a post every two or three days.
Meanwhile, Sixto is pretty close to finishing off the new content management system which’ll allow p2pnet to do things free, off-the-shelf cms applications won’t permit.
We’re also looking outside of the envelope to see if there’s a way to keep on posting without having to depend on advertising.
So thanks to everyone who’s contributed so far. It’s a really big help, and we really appreciate it.
We’ll keep you posted : )

why? these things cost money and since you’re posting one can only assume you come to this site for the latest in the industry news. which wouldn’t be here without dedicated people like Jon.
Other sites are in it for the money and dispite tough talk, are unwilling to make any sacrifices or take chances with the entertainment industry if the bottom line can be affected, not so with this site, or others like downhillbattle.org.
If people like this site and want to keep it going then sometimes a plea for help is necessary.

Why? P2Pnet does good and its stories counter a lot of the BS thats out there. If the people who run it want some help thats cool with me.

If it is so annoying, then you can go to the cartel-financed site and get the same flutter as the rest of the sheeple. I have run a free site before and I know how hard it is to raise needed funds.
I sent him some money, anf if everyone hare sent him a couple of buck, I’m sure he won’t need to ask for money for quite a few years!

You don’t even know me. Is it the policy of this site to attack anyone who disagrees with a news posting? I don’t recall any regulation that states I cannot express my dissatisfaction.
