Thosee of you who want a tiger: As an owner of many different species of exotic cats, you have to know what you are doing when it comes to owning a lion or tiger. So those who "dont have enough money" you need to make sure you have money before even thinking about purchasing an exotic cat. A tiger eats up to 18 kilograms (about 40lbs) of meat at one time. I purchase 7,000 lbs of meat at a time and it cost a pretty penny. Also, I dont just feed my tigers, lions, etc and then just walk away. I spend hours with them everyday taking care of them. And when it comes to feeding you need to find nutritional supplements. To the comment above me: I have owned exoctic cats for years and all since they were cubs (my oldest being 7 and my youngest are almost 7 weeks) so when you attack people for wanting to own one of these magnificent creatures how about you talk to some one who has owned them and takes a damn good care of them! And furthermore, i have not ONCE EVER THOUGHT ABOUT KILLING ONE OF MY CATS!! Would you kill a member fo you family just because they got older?! ALSO, sometimes people have to intervene when it comes to hunter. The South China tigers or also known as the Chinese, Amoy, or Xiamen tigers, are one of the smaller and the most critically endangered of the living tiger subspecies. Experts think that there are less than 20 of these tigers left in the world! and warn that they might become extinct within the next decade. So when there are probably hundreds of "tiger rugs" in the homes of china right now some people are doing the tigers a favor and saving the before they all become extinct!!!

Why would you want to sell a tiger online? They're already endangered!!! They should be released into the wild! That's their true home! They don't deserve to be in a HOUSE! When they grow up, what are you gonna do? You'll probably kill it! Please let it free! And all the other animals!

I would also like a tiger but i don't have the money right now. I heard that tigers need to do their own thing and not be held back, stuck in some house. That is the way a guy raised a bear.

Ok YOUR ALL CRAZY!!
You do relise tiger cubs for sale have most likely been taken illegally from the wild, and tigers naturally stay with their mother till at least 1year old but usually more!!!!
Unless you own a wildlife park you won't have the space or the faclities for a tiger, and being strong won't help you when a 400 pound tiger with teeth and claws decides its bored. Look up the accidents people have had keeping tigers, most are injuried or killed by the tiger trying to play fight. Im a volunteer at an animal sanctury, most people dont have faclities to keep a pony or a large dog, I'm also doing Zoology with Animal Behaviour a tiger will only do what it wants they know their stronger and bigger.
GROW THE HELL UP GUYS!

I have been wanting a tiger as a pet for about 2 years now. I haven't been able to find credible websites for the sale of tiger cubs. can anyone help me out? I've done my research on them and i understand 100% how to take care of them properly. it's hysterical when someone is completely against people who want a tiger as a pet. The common argument i hear and read is "it's a wild animal" "they are unsafe to have as a pet". If you raise a tiger as a pet it has never been in the wild, they're killer instinct will be eliminated. It would be raised just like a dog and respond in the same ways as a dog would. I've seen on tv people having bears as pets. some people on here are worried about the weight of the tiger being a factor, try a 400 to 500 pound bear. Bears in the wild would rip your head off just like a tiger would, but the key thing here is that they aren't in the wild they are PETS! The reason why tigers in captivity attack is because they are around other tigers which brings back that instinct they have from being in the wild. another reason is that a lot of them aren't treated very well and lead pretty bad lives because a lot of trainers don't show the love and affection that a pet deserves, and just flat out don't care. Tigers are the most loyal pets you could have. If you get them when they're cubs and treat them good and have adequate living conditions for them they won't bite the hand that feeds them. you can't even go on vacation, because they are so loyal to you that they won't even eat food from anyone else. I think that is just awesome! Bottom line you just have to have common sense while raising the tiger and you will be fine

why do all of you think bronz will help you raise a tiger? you need brains! tigers need lots of attention and love. you have to make sure they are feed properly and have lots of exercise. you can't just throw him in a cage and think it will all work out on its own. you need to take classes and learn how to take care of one right. don't just jump in head first and hope everything will be okay, this is a living breathing life you are all talking about. please if this is what you wanna do then do it right.

Tony, and Jeff. As of now i am qualified to be a Navy Seal. I have 3 friends that are Navy Seals. Im 15 and i can bench 190. If i continue excercise and join the navy seals i will most likely be beaching around 400+ but it doesnt matter how strong you are when it comes to raising a tiger/lion etc. You have to train it correctly. Almost like a dog. my dog does what ever we want to do. My dad can snap and point at the cooler and my dog will get him a beer. haha. but i plan to be a navy seal, and go into delta force. it takes a lot of hard work and effort to get there. And most likely i want be wealthy. Most of the time you arent left with anything. u could endup in the crazy house or on the streets for the rest of your life.
but im getting a tiger, hopefully i can raise good. If not and it gets kinda wild i will give it to a zoo, or wildlife center or something so it can have a better life. but i usually dont fail to doing stuff like this

i really want one my self and im only 19. i understand all of the dangers that owning a tiger will put on my shoulders but i dont plan on buying one till i live some where way outta town (like 30+miles) i've joined the marines and am going to continue my military career for another 6 years. reason being i was to join the navy seals then the special forces it might take longer than 6 years but when im done and i retire from the military life i will be physically fit to own a tiger and i will be wealthy enough as well. i know they are wild animals and i intend to keep them in the wild which is why i want to buy a tiger that has already been born in captivity and raised as a tame tiger or a baby cub that has never entered the wild. i have thought this through very thoroughly and plan to take full responsibility of having a tiger. i believe at the present time i am almost physically fit to handle a young so called "teen" tiger i bench 275lbs. squat 400Lbs and clean 250lbs. by the time i join the navy seals i plan on being able to bench a minimum of 450lbs. and clean 300lbs. im not too worried about my squats as they are fine for now.

thats my 2 cents haha now as for the 11 year old boy hes nuts

if the tigers are not in a safe helthy area then they shouldn't be in the wild. it would only kill them. people give the tigers a wild looking home so they feel safe too. i think thats a good thing for them.

Are you stupid! Do you realize tigers are supposed to be in the wild living healthy and natural lives, not as someone's pet!
