Xbox 360 to cost $300
p2pnet.net News:- Microsoft’s new Xbox 360 will go on the shelves for $300 in the US and will be out "in plenty of time for the Christmas market," according to Reuters.
And it’ll sell for 300 euros in Europe and 210 pounds in Britain, says the story, quoting European home and entertainment head Chris Lewis.
“Including accessories, the prices would be $400, 400 euros and 280 pounds,” says the story, adding that no date has been set for the launch, and that pricing for the Japanese market will be revealed at next month’s Tokyo games fair.
Reuters had nothing to say about speculation that the Xbox 360 could be compatible with the iPod.

Face it, anyone thats smart… and wants a 360… (wait, anyone thats smart, will get a PS3! XD) Will wait until MS releases the HD-DVD one, which will most likely take over another year to come out, and either be more expensive, or be $300 after others have gone down in price already…
I say, forget 360… and go with PS3… will come as Blue-Ray player out of the box on release date, and is an all around better machine! After all, Blue-Ray is the better format, like beta was! So support it, and make sure it doesn’t go the same way as beta!

dude, the ps3 doesnt REQUIRE an hdtv.
how dumb would that be… sorry not flamin that would just really be stupid on their part. xbox is requiring all games to play at 1080 but it will output analog signals at standard resolution.

The basic package will retail for $299 and will not include a hard disk, nor will it include a wireless controller, instead shipping with a wired pad. The second package will retail for $399 and will include a 20 Gb hard disk, wireless controller, wireless headset, Ethernet cable and remote control. No release date has been revealed, but a mid to late November date is expected.”

well I think the decision to buy one or not will depend on what games
will be available when it launches….

Xbox 360 will kick the shit out of sony’s PS3. Sony is takeing a non needed gamble with the blu ray disks. That also makes the price of the system go up. Also you would also need a high def tv to play them righ. Screw that. Also any one saying that microsoft is comeing out with 2 versions of their 360 is just bullshit. If someone can give me some proof that microsoft said that then i will write another one of these. But i know microsoft isn’t stupid enough to make a version without a controler. Is that also not going to contain a power and av cord to. BULL SHIT. Xbox 360 WILL be better then PS3 and Revolution.

first off the cheap one will have a control its not wireless tho 2nd blu ray disks have more room on them so they can do a lot with their games if they use it right and you will see the ps3 come out with 2 versions as well unless they decide agaisnt it now since they were talking about doing 2 for awhile now…..
