Rogers, Yahoo team up

Canada’s largest cable op, Rogers Cable, and Yahoo Inc say they’ll provide co-branded high-speed Internet access across Rogers’ broadband network in Ontario, News Brunswick and Newfoundland, says a Reuters report here.

Subscribers will receive high-speed Internet access bundled with a combination of customized Yahoo products and services.

Additionally, Rogers/AT&T Wireless and Yahoo said they plan to expand their existing agreement to provide Rogers/AT&T Wireless customers with mobile extensions of Yahoo’s communication and information services, it adds.
