I can't believe we're not #1, in the USA they don't complain as much as they can't even say "shit" or "fuck" or show their ass/dick (or even raised middle-finger, what about "freedom of speech"...) on TV, WE CAN AND WE DO all the time, kinda national sport here ! The capital city is Taipei. This is where Chiang kai-Shek fled with his followers following the Communist takeover of the mainland in 1949. For years (until the 1970s), they (Taiwan) represented 'China' in the UN while everyone else politely pretended that mainland China did not exist. Although the Government there is psuedo-democratic, they have not taken to resorting to ex-judicial summary executions for lodging a complaint about a broken streetlamp.
