China censors music sites
p2pnet.net News:- Sixty Communist China Net companies say they’ll, “abide by the regulations pertaining to the protection of online music intellectual property, according to R2G, a firm acting as a centralized music distribution platform in China,” says says China Knowledge, going on:
“R2G’s work includes protecting the interests of copyright owners and curbing online piracy in the Chinese market.”
According to statistics, “there are presently more than 7,000 online music websites in China, and almost all of them offer free music downloads without having obtained prior permission and approval from the relevant music authors and publishers,” adds the story.
