Gatefold artwork that is huge compared to a CD 2. It is a more intimate format (not many will understand this, especially those who have not used vinyl) 3. Sound quality is better than CD (this has been argued to great depths... do a search) but this is only important to those who have a decent audio system where sound quality is important to them. The factors that favor CD is that it is portable and convenient. People prefer vinyl for a few reasons.

Personally I never understood why people prefer vinyl to CDs but whatever... It's true it's strange they "offer" mp3 since it's a very bad format even at high bitrates but you'll surely find flac versions....
