Dick Cheney yuks it up

p2p news / p2pnet New Feature:- “So a week or so ago I experienced the single most traumatic week of my life,” writes The Heckler on eBay.

eBay? Yup. And, “The story of it all seems insane so after all the chaos then earlier today I was driving to my house on 2nd Street in Gulport, Ms. that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina,” he goes on.

“I arrived at the railroad tracks when the MP’s wouldn’t let me cross a barricade that is literally 200 feet or so from my former house. They told me ‘no one’ could pass and so I would have to take another route which was about an extra 20 minutes of driving. Now thanks to Dubya Gump and Mr. Cheney gas is really expensive and extremely hard to get anywhere Katrina has destroyed so needless to say I was extremely aggravated that they wouldn’t let me pass.

“Then suddenly a long line of dark cars pulls up and they start honking at me to backup to let the long line of cars through the barricade that supposedly no one can drive through. Well that pissed me off even more so I waved a middle finger at the caravan. I drove the extra 20 minutes and finally made it back to my former house filming video of the destruction along the way.”

So what’s this doing on eBay?

The caravan was Cheney on the move and when The Heckler discovered the president (sorry, vice president) was “down the street talking to people,” he went to check it out,.

“And then right in front of the destroyed tennis court I used to play on Dick Cheney was giving a pep rally talking to the press,” he goes on. “The secret service guys patted us down and waved the wands over us and then let us pass. Anyway I was standing about 10 feet away from Mr. Cheney while my friend was filming. I then took a picture of him and then yelled “Go Fu* Yourself Mr. Cheney ….Go Fu* YOURSELF….Go Fu* Yourself…you asshole”.

The Heckler says he noticed the secret service guys “with a panic stricken look on their faces like they were about to tackle me so I calmly walked away back to my former house”.

Above right, the president (sorry, vice president) looks a little askance at being told to go and have sexual congress with himself.

The Heckler’s friend videotaped a while longer, “and then he came back to my former house. We were salvaging the few things we could and about 10 minutes or so later two MP’s waving M-16’s showed up at my former house. They said they were looking for someone who fit my description who had cursed at the VP. I told them I was probably the person they were looking for and so they put me in handcuffs and ‘detained’ me for about 20 minutes or so.

“My right thumb went numb because the cuffs were on so tight but they were fairly courteous and eventually released me after getting all my contact info. They said I had NOT broken any laws so I was free to go.

“We lost our home and many other things in the worst natural disaster in the history of our nation and my wife Lisa was even featured on CNN after having our baby Sofia Grace shortly after the storm.”

Are you getting a lot of that Mr. Vice President? – asked the CNN reporter, referring to The Heckler’s heart-felt suggestion.

“First time I’ve heard it,” Cheney replies. “Must be a friend of John…, er, ah – never mind.” The mainscream media reps crack up.

Cheney laughs it off, adds The Heckler, “but there are many people dead that aren’t laughing right now.”

The truth is, “even with all our losses we are still luckier than many people down here because at least we didn’t die. But I thought I could try to raise some awareness to the bad policies of the Dubya Gump administration and also possibly raise some money to replace the many things we lost and so I decided I would auction the videotape my friend shot of the event.”

Now you know what this is doing on eBay and as we write this at 2:40 pm Pacific, the auction has reached $585, with six days to go.

UPDATE: As a p2pnet reader observes here, “At 7:16 EDT the item has been removed from EBAY.”

“This listing (7712048060) has been removed by eBay or is no longer available,” confirms eBay, neglecting to explain why that’s so.

UPDATE #2 @ 12:12 pm Pacific – "Late Friday, Sept. 9, eBay, which is owned by strong Bush-Cheney supporters, took down Marble’s site," notes TT. Marble said it was because he didn’t bleep out the first ‘fu’ of ‘fuck,’ so he did that, and the eBay site is back up here. The bidding is over $1,000, as of late Sept. 9".

But the site was down again when we checked it today. Meanwhile, TT also links to another post which tells more about Dr Ben Marble, aka The Heckler. We also have an item here.

i’m just waiting for the time the goverment finaly decides to say, ‘poor folk dying? fuck ‘em, who cares. Under our new plan, all the lower income survivors will be granted all the rights and privlidges of any property, now that these people have been reclassified as livestock, and legally owned exclusively by haliburton. God bless all the fat pale mayonaise sweating bastards who finaly have the courage to get rid of the poverty problem by letting the poor folks die.

To the guy who got cuffed.. Tough shit, Asshole! Your’e just another foul mouthed fucking jerk..You got what you deserve, looser. Get over it!

What a shining example you are. lol!!!

  5. Reader's Write Says:

I love how these anti-Bush people are waiting for anything to happen so they can jump up and blame the administration. BUSH DIDN’T CAUSE THE FUCKING HURRICANE! And it’s not his fault that the lower government people didn’t do their jobs properly and follow the set out guidelines for getting help for their states! That’s what they’re there for, because the President can’t keep an eye on every fucking part of the country! But once he saw that help wasn’t getting through as it should have, he did what had to be done to get aid to the people. Bush doesn’t hate blacks, poor people or any other group that democrats are spewing about. It makes me sick to see people use a DISASTER to further their political hatred. This is the time to stick together to help the people that need it so desperately. And if you think yelling profanities at the Vice President of the United States makes you look like anything but a complete loser, you’re sadly mistaken.

    Here’s an interesting link.

    http://stopthelie.com/we_have_the_advantage.html

Stop The Lie – We Have the Advantage

In short, the State has grown so greedy, so corrupt, so dangerous and belligerent, that it no longer has the power to “shield the people” from the consequences of its lies. Additionally, it has all but lost its ability to bury the mounting evidence against it. …Where before the state could easily silence the masses with clever manipulations like “You’re giving aid and comfort to the enemy,” now brave Americans are standing up and stating the obvious: “No, we’re giving aid and comfort to the truth.”

Perfect! I’m with you! To the original response to the article… Yeah. Obviously we have a genius in our midst.

The best part is this became “an issue” from either perspective. I empathise with the gentleman’s plite. I don’t condone his lack of respect. I appreciate his frustration. Let’s all yell politics back and forth and not focus on or contribute to solving the real problem. Why do things like this generally bring out the selfishness, selfcenteredness, and ignorance in AMERICANS???????

  8. Reader's Write Says:

Folks, I gotta say this. Having just gone through this storm, it is a trying time durning the recoup and aftermath. I guess the hardest part is the not knowing time, immeadiately following the storm, where all the power is down, no information is coming in or going out, and everyone is sitting on their duff or mucking out in the clean out process. When there is no food, no drinking water, and no information as too when help might arrive.

Much of the problems being dealt with stem from lack of information of property and loved ones, lack of timely responce by those that know it needs be done, and from local failings to deal with problems in the past before now, knowing that this situtation was coming and it was a numbers game whose number would come up at some point. Crap, I KNOW first hand that New Orleans has known this situtation would come one day. That was 20 years ago it was being discussed and it was mentioned it was discussed far earlier than that. New Orleans is among the oldest of cities in the US and these problems have been around ever since the place was settled. It takes co-operation among political figures, it takes co-operation from both state and federal departments, and it takes a willingness by the population to support such actions or they never see the light of day in the doing.

This has nothing to do with race. Every race in these areas are suffering just as bad as the next. Some how this is much like the news of the RIAA, it is a favorite poster child of the major media when it is found to be played. Never fails to get attention. Funny thing is that this sort of thing will never be accepted as having been dealt with. As long as anyone is looking for a free, unearned handout, there will always be claims of someone isn’t doing enough as someone else who didn’t work for it still lacks.

Give-aways aren’t the answer to the race problem. (with the exceptions of disasters such as these areas now face) The key here is doing good in school to get an education, the honesty to say if you want it you must earn it, and the realization that criminal activity isn’t a long term shortcut to riches and fame. Those that play the race card first are usually those most racist.

I can understand the guy in this article being PO’ed. I can’t understand his solution to the problem. Most likely this fellow had a long drive back from some evacuation area. He has most likely spend the last 11 days trying to find out about his home, dealing with unheard of lines for everything, and dealing with rude people at the same time. It leads to flustration and reactions that normally folks just would not do. Forgetting that he owes the public the same curtiousy he expects to recieve is something different and there was no call for him to act as he did.

Patience sometimes requires a lot of wait.

  9. Reader's Write Says:

Noooo…but it IS Bush’s fault that the levies were not finished, sicne he mis-apropriated the 73 million bucks allocated to finish them to fund 9 hrs of invading a nation that NEVER HARMED US IN ANY WAY!

He did this despite the scientific community lobbying for YEARS to get the funds, since the rising temperature of gulf waters made it a SURETY that this would happen. Any Bush KNEW it, he just didn’t care since the states that would be affected are full of poor black people. Cheney didn’t give a rat’s ass since the money would be going to fill his company’s coffers, the same company that he owns a major interest in and PUBLICALLY gets a kick-back from!

For months BEFORE Katrina hit, several local construction companies were frantically trying (drastically understaffed and without payment) to finish the levies before the entire are went underwater….and the Bush administration decided to SUE them for doing so!

AFTER the flooding inundates the states…the Bush administration acts! They act to BLOCK THE ROADS OUT, and turn back hundreds of thousands of refugees trying to leave. ALSO turnign back convoys of CIVILIAN disaster relief such as trucks of water and sundries from Wal-Mart, buses that folks in the area chartered themselves, and so on.

And they are STILL doing this!

And now, YEARS after first getting the warning about this disaster occuring, Bush and Cheney have the GAUL to claim they “did everything they could” and “nobody had any idea this could happen”. In otehr words they LIE TO OUR FACES and LAUGH BEHIND OUR BACKS as they march to the bank, incalculably richer while “we the people” die so they can lap up our blood.

But hey…its all good…folks like YOU Elistas will continue to ignore every single fucked up thing they do, and rally to them…because to do otherwise is to be anti-christianity and unpatriotic.

Go to hell and burn, right alonside the rest of these neocon racist warmongering hypocritical bastards.

  10. Reader's Write Says:

“Why do things like this generally bring out the selfishness, selfcenteredness, and ignorance in AMERICANS???????”

Key word there: AMERICANS! We have the right and the DUTY to speak our minds to the elected officials in power, ESPECIALLY when we disagree with them.

Or haven’t you ever read the Constitution, or the Minutes of the Continental Congress? Ohhh…I’m sorry…you were probably EDUCATED in America. You probably suck on the Fox News teat day in, and day out.

People like you are the same EXACT people the foundign fatehrs warned us about. While SOME of us take advantage of the information that this age makes available to formulate our OWN opinions, folks like YOU prefere to have your opinions given to you pre-digested. Ignorance is truth, slavery is freedom, right?

He appoints them. Wake up you fascist apologist. Also, people do curse at people on this planet. The only loser is people like you that defend people that are incompetent & are destroying your country. Ignorance is bliss in your case.

  19. Reader's Write Says:

Enough with the strawmen, Bush Apologist #23502244. No one is suggesting that Bush caused the hurricane, except for those nuts that no one really cares about anyway. If you truly think that’s the case then I can only advise you to take off your partisan blinders and see the reality around you.

The “lower government” asked for federal aid BEFORE THE HURRICANE HIT. It was the federal goverments JOB to supply that aid. Remember, that’s why we pay taxes to them. Government exists to serve us, it is not a private business that abides by its own rules. The “lower government” did not receive this aid for days while people were stuck in the Superdome and Convention Center. All the while, Bush and his cronies were dicking it up at various locations, ignoring the situation in NOLA. If a state applies for emergency aid, the president better damn well keep his eye out on them. Bush didn’t, and failed to respond to this emergency. Doesn’t that seem strange, I mean, this administration was suppose to protect us like none other has in the case of an emergency, right? What happened to this “protection” government in NOLA?

Even so, when federal agencies such as FEMA finally moved into NOLA and other hard hit areas, they proved themselves to be completely incompetent. Severe communication breakdowns inflammed by the lack of leadership made the problem even worse. In addition, FEMA blocked off exits to the city and refused to let civilian aid in Then the excuses started flying. Here’s one gem:

“We couldn’t have anticipated the breach of the levees.” – Dubya

Yes, because NO ONE was anticipating the breach of levees only capable of standing up to a Cat 3 storm when they were hit by a Cat 4, almost Cat 5 system. Great logic there Dubya, you were even briefed about the situation days beforehand, and you still ignored it? Looks like someone slipped up… Hmm, and whatever happened to that funding that could’ve been used to improve the levees years ago? Oh yes, it was used to create bridges in Alaska to please the (Repub) politicians of that state.

Yelling profanities at the VP doesn’t make someone a complete loser, but supporting the decisions of an administration that clearly fucked up, and then trying to blame those mistakes on the local, liberal government officials (wait, so who’s playing the political blame game here in the middle of this DISASTER?) certainly does.

  20. Reader's Write Says:

If you’re not black, don’t speak about this not being about race. The USA became rich on the free labor of blacks & the theft of the land from the Natives. A country founded on genocide & slavery shouldn’t go around the world “promoting freedom.” Fix your own country 1st, as it appears the Bush administration can’t. The new Rome.

  21. Reader's Write Says:

Actually, that’s the Republican home page!

  22. Reader's Write Says:

Loser is spelled loser not looser, you loser.

  23. Reader's Write Says:

The Constitution was replaced by the Patriot Act. The USA ceased to exist the day Bush took over. It’s now run by corporation & the people are just wage slaves.

  24. Reader's Write Says:

The people of New Orleans just need help. That is all they are asking for. Enough of the blame game. The people of New Orleans need drinking water, they need food. They wanted to leave, but were refused to leave, because of, what I call, Checkpoints, and American soldiers, who I call Israeli Soldiers, refuse anyone who tried to pass these checkpoints. The people who wanted to stay, let them. It’s their home. They know no other home. It’s not our business to tell them to leave. A soldier had the nerve to point a gun at my cousin, while another soldier grabbed him and threw him out of his own home. All he wanted was to see what he can retrieve, if anything, in his home, that was destroyed by Katrina. The situation in New Orleans and problems with the Government only bring back my memories of the situation in Palestine. You’re kicked out of the only place you call home. You never get the help you need, especially when you need it. When something horrible goes wrong (like the Hurricane), it’s easier to just blame someone, rather than taking action and helping. You cut of emergency contacts, so the people are left questions, yet no answers. Families have been seperated. Outside help has been refused. Soldiers came back from shooting people in Iraq, and now shooting Americans. Instead of protecting the people in New Orleans, they are being shot at. Thank you. It is sad that it took this hurricane for people to realize this country did nothing for us, never cared for us, and never will. Some people still don’t take this hurricane as a hint. What will it take, seriously? Our flag doesn’t represent freedom or whatever else it is supposed to claim. All it represents are colors thrown on a cloth, like kids throwing paint on paper. To this administration, it’s easier to send weapons to Israel, and raise money for war. When it comes to America, it’s just easy to blame someone and point fingers. It’s sad when a reporter asked a cop “So it must be a tough job shooting dogs” It’s a tough job shooting dogs? But it’s not a tough job shooting people? It’s also sad when two Navy helicopter pilots were hated on, because they decided to rescue people, when “their assignment that day had been to deliver food and water to military installations.” Lt. David Shand and Lt. Matt Udkow, Thank you for doing such a wonderful job. It is very appreciated. Screw the people who didn’t appreciate your courageous work. So anyway, nobody is to blame. Not FEMA, or Cheney. They are both assholes anyway. And our President, well, he is something else. Just think of it this way, he can’t be President again. Well, GOD, I hope not. Because we will get even more screwed.

  25. Reader's Write Says:

When are the Bush loyalist going to give up the “Bush did’nt cause the Hurricane line” and accept responsibility for gross mismanagement and negligence in Homeland Security. Bush would not cause a nuclear or biological weapons attack either, but should we assume that this is the Homeland Security response? That is costing $50 billion per year? It is the response we are talking about here not the cause. The response was amateurish, sophomoric and downright meaningless. Do you really care that he surveys the devastation from the comfort of Air Force One? People forget that after the Supreme Court put him in office, 9/11 saved this clowns presidency. Does anybody remember how leader like he and his oil-pumping buddies were when the Chinese confiscated the intel plane and held our crew hostage for a month? Remember how presidential he looked then? How about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? No sorry, it really about spreading democracy. Or how about the Compassionate Ones little skit for the press dinner on not finding weapons of mass destruction in the Oval office. Sure made the families of the 1,870 dead american servicemen and 7,500 maimed and wounded feel great did’nt it? You people will buy anything this imposter says as long as it ends in God bless America. Wake up and smell the reality. The last time the republicans controlled this much of the government was under Herbert Hoover. Does anybody remember what happened at the end of his term that FDR had to clean up? Can you spell Great Depression? God save America from the El Rushbo zealots.
