Foul mouthed yes, quoting our Vice Presidents own words he used on the floor of congress to Patrick Lehay, I believe the good Dr. was just trying to put it on a level Dick can actually understand.

"haven't heard that before", could that possibly be one of the bigger lies Cheney has uttered yet?

When are the Bush loyalist going to give up the "Bush did'nt cause the Hurricane line" and accept responsibility for gross mismanagement and negligence in Homeland Security. Bush would not cause a nuclear or biological weapons attack either, but should we assume that this is the Homeland Security response? That is costing $50 billion per year? It is the response we are talking about here not the cause. The response was amateurish, sophomoric and downright meaningless. Do you really care that he surveys the devastation from the comfort of Air Force One? People forget that after the Supreme Court put him in office, 9/11 saved this clowns presidency. Does anybody remember how leader like he and his oil-pumping buddies were when the Chinese confiscated the intel plane and held our crew hostage for a month? Remember how presidential he looked then? How about the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? No sorry, it really about spreading democracy. Or how about the Compassionate Ones little skit for the press dinner on not finding weapons of mass destruction in the Oval office. Sure made the families of the 1,870 dead american servicemen and 7,500 maimed and wounded feel great did'nt it? You people will buy anything this imposter says as long as it ends in God bless America. Wake up and smell the reality. The last time the republicans controlled this much of the government was under Herbert Hoover. Does anybody remember what happened at the end of his term that FDR had to clean up? Can you spell Great Depression? God save America from the El Rushbo zealots.

The people of New Orleans just need help. That is all they are asking for. Enough of the blame game. The people of New Orleans need drinking water, they need food. They wanted to leave, but were refused to leave, because of, what I call, Checkpoints, and American soldiers, who I call Israeli Soldiers, refuse anyone who tried to pass these checkpoints. The people who wanted to stay, let them. It's their home. They know no other home. It's not our business to tell them to leave. A soldier had the nerve to point a gun at my cousin, while another soldier grabbed him and threw him out of his own home. All he wanted was to see what he can retrieve, if anything, in his home, that was destroyed by Katrina. The situation in New Orleans and problems with the Government only bring back my memories of the situation in Palestine. You're kicked out of the only place you call home. You never get the help you need, especially when you need it. When something horrible goes wrong (like the Hurricane), it's easier to just blame someone, rather than taking action and helping. You cut of emergency contacts, so the people are left questions, yet no answers. Families have been seperated. Outside help has been refused. Soldiers came back from shooting people in Iraq, and now shooting Americans. Instead of protecting the people in New Orleans, they are being shot at. Thank you. It is sad that it took this hurricane for people to realize this country did nothing for us, never cared for us, and never will. Some people still don't take this hurricane as a hint. What will it take, seriously? Our flag doesn't represent freedom or whatever else it is supposed to claim. All it represents are colors thrown on a cloth, like kids throwing paint on paper. To this administration, it's easier to send weapons to Israel, and raise money for war. When it comes to America, it's just easy to blame someone and point fingers. It's sad when a reporter asked a cop "So it must be a tough job shooting dogs" It's a tough job shooting dogs? But it's not a tough job shooting people? It's also sad when two Navy helicopter pilots were hated on, because they decided to rescue people, when "their assignment that day had been to deliver food and water to military installations." Lt. David Shand and Lt. Matt Udkow, Thank you for doing such a wonderful job. It is very appreciated. Screw the people who didn't appreciate your courageous work. So anyway, nobody is to blame. Not FEMA, or Cheney. They are both assholes anyway. And our President, well, he is something else. Just think of it this way, he can't be President again. Well, GOD, I hope not. Because we will get even more screwed.

If you're not black, don't speak about this not being about race. The USA became rich on the free labor of blacks & the theft of the land from the Natives. A country founded on genocide & slavery shouldn't go around the world "promoting freedom." Fix your own country 1st, as it appears the Bush administration can't.
Enough with the strawmen, Bush Apologist #23502244. No one is suggesting that Bush caused the hurricane, except for those nuts that no one really cares about anyway. If you truly think that's the case then I can only advise you to take off your partisan blinders and see the reality around you.

The "lower government" asked for federal aid BEFORE THE HURRICANE HIT. It was the federal goverments JOB to supply that aid. Remember, that's why we pay taxes to them. Government exists to serve us, it is not a private business that abides by its own rules. The "lower government" did not receive this aid for days while people were stuck in the Superdome and Convention Center. All the while, Bush and his cronies were dicking it up at various locations, ignoring the situation in NOLA. If a state applies for emergency aid, the president better damn well keep his eye out on them. Bush didn't, and failed to respond to this emergency. Doesn't that seem strange, I mean, this administration was suppose to protect us like none other has in the case of an emergency, right? What happened to this "protection" government in NOLA?

Even so, when federal agencies such as FEMA finally moved into NOLA and other hard hit areas, they proved themselves to be completely incompetent. Severe communication breakdowns inflammed by the lack of leadership made the problem even worse. In addition, FEMA blocked off exits to the city and refused to let civilian aid in Then the excuses started flying. Here's one gem:

"We couldn't have anticipated the breach of the levees." - Dubya

Yes, because NO ONE was anticipating the breach of levees only capable of standing up to a Cat 3 storm when they were hit by a Cat 4, almost Cat 5 system. Great logic there Dubya, you were even briefed about the situation days beforehand, and you still ignored it? Looks like someone slipped up... Hmm, and whatever happened to that funding that could've been used to improve the levees years ago? Oh yes, it was used to create bridges in Alaska to please the (Repub) politicians of that state.

Yelling profanities at the VP doesn't make someone a complete loser, but supporting the decisions of an administration that clearly fucked up, and then trying to blame those mistakes on the local, liberal government officials (wait, so who's playing the political blame game here in the middle of this DISASTER?) certainly does.

UPDATE: Late Friday, Sept. 9, eBay, which is owned by strong Bush-Cheney supporters, took down Marble's site. Marble said it was because he didn’t bleep out the first “fu” of “fuck,” so he did that, and the eBay site is back up here. The bidding is over $1,000, as of late Sept. 9.

"Why do things like this generally bring out the selfishness, selfcenteredness, and ignorance in AMERICANS???????"

Key word there: AMERICANS! We have the right and the DUTY to speak our minds to the elected officials in power, ESPECIALLY when we disagree with them.

Or haven't you ever read the Constitution, or the Minutes of the Continental Congress? Ohhh...I'm sorry...you were probably EDUCATED in America. You probably suck on the Fox News teat day in, and day out.

People like you are the same EXACT people the foundign fatehrs warned us about. While SOME of us take advantage of the information that this age makes available to formulate our OWN opinions, folks like YOU prefere to have your opinions given to you pre-digested. Ignorance is truth, slavery is freedom, right?
