p2p news / p2pnet:- The (in)famous Dick Cheney Fuck Off Flic is still online at the eBay auction site, going for $20 per download.
It features a seriously upset Hurricane Katrina victim in Gulfport, Mississippi, expressing his thoughts to Cheney, who’s using the disaster as an excuse for carefully staged impromptu Meet the Press session just outside the victim’s ruined house.
eBay, ever sensitive, thrice removed the auction page but Ben Marble, the ER doctor who’d made the suggestion to Cheney and who put the resulting video, shot by his friend, up for sale, persevered.
“Well apparently a lot of people don’t want my video to ever see the light of day so it was deleted once again,” he said. “I will once again attempt to repost this and I will keep cutting/pasting each time they delete it until I have complied with all their rules.”
Cheney and others of his ilk generously made their services available for the relief effort. Sadly, one of their number, Michael Brown, director of FEMA, was sacked as head of the Katrina disaster relief, “amid allegations he had padded his resume”.
Or as the fair and balanced Fox News puts it, “FEMA’s top manager resigned in the wake of a poorly perceived response to the disastrous storm.”
But all is well. Cheney used to run Halliburton, although he no longer has anything to do with it, of course, and its subsidiary, Kellogg Brown, is among those now with Hurricane Katrina reconstruction contracts.
And with Brown no longer responsible for FEMA, George W has accepted responsibility for the Hurricane Katrina disaster disasasters.
At a joint White House news conference with the president of Iraq (?), “Katrina exposed serious problems in our response capability at all levels of government,” Fox has Bush admitting, adding, “To the extent the federal government didn’t fully do its job right, I take responsibility.”
Didn’t fully do its job right, eh?

The daily show covered it and there’s a torrent of that, though they bleeped out where he cussed the guy out. I forget which episode it is though.
