New F-Secure hardware system
p2p news / p2pnet:- Finnish security company F-Secure has added a new item to its existing antivirus, network encryption, desktop firewall with intrusion prevention, anti-spam and parental control products – the Messaging Security Gateway, a 1U-sized rack-mountable appliance that sits next to the email server and automatically filters spam and viruses from message traffic.
This is what Microsoft must have felt when they started selling Microsoft mice, jokes research director Mikko Hypponen on the company blog.
How much? Project manager Jyrki Tulokas would only tell p2pnet, The pricing is available soon via our channel partners.
How will the Gateway improve on F-Secure software? We’ve put a lot of new technology into the product that our old products do not have yet, says Tulokas, saying it took F-Secure and partner Proofpoint about six months to develop.
