Good points in the post I’m replying to. Right now I only like Blu-Ray more because of the capacity. Otherwise, I’ll probably go with whichever DRM is cracked first lol. Neither are of real interest to me though since I’m still happy with DVD for now, though I’ll probably end up buying a PS3 anyways (for the games of course, no other reason).

Now that you have dropped your load over a blu-ray format disc, don’t you realise sony is one of the biggest cartel members procecuting women and children to downloading online?

In the end both formats will be jam packed with DRM. So it’s not as if they are a saving grace.

The only advantage HD-DVD has is that it will work with existing players, or so i’ve read. That might be incorrect though.

Sony just wants to control everything, and i’m certain that would be a bad thing.

Yea, you heard me!

As long as PS3 will use Blu-ray first, and 360 will not use hd-dvd, then Blu-ray will win!

It doesn’t matter who supports it… it matters by how many people have easy cheap access to players… and since PS3 will come with a Blu-ray player… then no one is gonna want to pay for an expensive HD-DVD player.

Besides… Sony owns a LOT of studios… so all their movies will come out in Blu-ray!

Sony already experianced the Betamax problem… they wont make the same mistakes twice!
