We all agree that there are starving artists, but if the extremely few Canadian artists signed by CRIA are starving then this has far more to do with problems caused by CRIA than with anything Canadians are doing. The judge did not say that it was legal, they just said that CRIA was incompetant and did not provide adequate evidence that any infringement had occured.
