What kind of intent? Does this mean that if amd, intel, mobo makers etc all get together and implement drm in hardware that, i can then file charges and get them arrested for the same thing? I certainly wouldn&#039;t have authorised the addition of drm to hardware i purchased!

Considering how vague the word &quot;modification&quot; is i could probably also charge MS with adding drm to vista and &quot;modifying my computer&quot; by restricting what i can do with it.

Tho i&#039;m sure their EULA will state that if you install or use vista you have given them exactly that authorisation, and a whole lot more.
