eBay buys VeriSign unit
p2p news / p2pnet:- eBay has bought VeriSign’s payment processing business for $370 million and now plans to merge it with PayPal.
eBay will also buy up to one million tokens from VeriSign that display constantly-changing numbers used as passwords to increase security, says Reuters, going on:
VeriSign’s payment gateway software connects Web businesses with payment processors generally run by major banks. VeriSign also is the dominant supplier of software used to manage secure credit card transactions between consumers and Web sites.
eBay recently bought Skype for $2.6 billion.
Both eBay and PayPal are infamous for their `the customer comes second policies.

First they bought hype (aka Skype) for too much money, now this?! WTF?!
Firstly, Skype was NOT making money, second Verisign is a loser business.
Bad, bad, BAD business practice, and decision. WTF, these guys are setting up “Dot Com” bubble2…. LOL
