Below you will see our petition to stop Vladd from taking over your WinMX. This is a statement from WinMX World on behalf of the real owners of WinMX, the users. Please note that the quotes below are taken from a document of a meeting of Operation PIE.

We petition you to take a greater look at your actions. Please think of the good of WinMX and not the glory of yourself. We petition you to stop allowing the planning of attacks on the ws2_32.dll or any other means KM releases that allows users to connect. We petition you to also stop the planing of this take over of WinMX to change it into your personal p2p ie: PieMX. Its in the interest of WinMX that you reconsider your actions and take a look at your motives. This program doesnt belong to you, or any ONE individual. WinMX belongs to the users. Your actions and lack of actions would give way for users to think that your intentions are to take somthing that does not belong to you, and to destroy any one that doesnt fit into your PIE Patch agenda, and team. It is the position of WinMX World that you have no rights to take WinMX and make decisions that effect the entire user base with out their consent or knowledge. Control of WinMX no more belongs to Vladd44.com or Operation PIE then it does to WinMX World or WinMX Group.

IF the people from pie or winmx world hadn’t done anything and just let WinMx die then i myself would be homeless. Certain parts are taken out of context in my opinion but heh wtf .

there was talk in pie of a ws2_32.dll killer but it’s never come to that the dll works and so does pies host file i use both on two seperate machines , as for making decisions without my “a win mx users consent” thats a idiotic statement how do you suppose you reach X-amount of users and gather a poll as to the direction it should persue ? Vladd44 and WinMxworld both have what i’d call an equal following so neither have control both release what they see fit , and what about the ppl who make plugins chat servers ect for winmx they dont ask the permission of the winmx user to see if it’s wanted they just do it and let ppl judge for themselves which we all do , if whats been done is classed as wrong then i guess i have no sense

oh dear .. its a b****y program .. it is and will never be real life, there are spaces in time, where programs show signs of life, and like life they have death, WinMx for all it was a good place to organise people for the greater efforts of pirates, chat addicts, gays, peadophiles and all other wierd n wonderful types of human personalitys, there will always be another place, as for take over, let it be so if they think they can, how can u take over something which is controlled by millions of seperate entitys, the fact that this site has been used to published a personal dispute seems to be laughable to say the least, revolution happens when the majority dont like what the minority is putting them through, the suppressors become suppressed and all that malarky, lets get over it and see how it comes out, bill gates didnt mind taking over a few things in his time huh ..

Hmmm,
My god where to start, I hope my oppinion is taken as just that, I am merely just an mx user, I say merely but I would like to think an integral part of mx, i am a room host, an active spammer stopper, racist stopper and general nice guy (bigup meself lol) and above all a seeder/sharer, which at the end of the day is what makes Winmx, does it not, people can say what they like but without people like me where would mx be, empty.
I think its a real shame what is going on, i have read much and to be frank im getting a lil bit sick of all the bickering and that is how it comes over to a lot of us (the average users), so many of my freinds have left due to not knowing what patch to use as when they have asked for advise one person says one thing while the other person says no dont listen to them they are wrong blah blah blah, this is the fact of it, i can count over 10 of my freinds that have left because of this; how many others can say that too, add it all up, it gets kinda scary, im sure there is great harm from this and i wish it would stop, WinMx is the users network and nothing else, we put effort in and get rewards from fellow sharers and the community we all enjoy, we all underrstand what happens behind the scenes and we thank you all for what you have done, but we all do our part in one way or another, I know I do, please lets not forget why we are all here, and not go down the road of forgetting what is important, surely i need not elaborate on this.
Winmx is how we all know this program and I have asked over 200 users myself and noone wants a name change, im sure if i was to ask another 200 users that the answer would still be the same.
piemx? mxpie? why? I dont get it, well I do and its not in the best interests of the user, this im sure of, i have no power goals in this, therfore my views i like to think are pure, why cant we all just work together, we love WinMx we want it to live, if you change the name it is no longer winmx simple as, its another p2p program that many will not trust in the same way, mx is established and people trust it, mess with that formula and i think it will never be the same, hey it just my oppinion pure and simple.
