China online prostitution bust
p2p news / p2pnet:- Police in Communist China have busted a brother and sister online prostitution operation.
The ring, “headed by siblings surnamed He,” was uncovered by Sichuan and Shanghai police and, “The duo, along with eighteen other members of the gang, were jailed this past week and were accused of spreading pornographic information via the Internet in China,” says ChinaTechNews
“They started the business at the beginning of 2005.”
According to the story, He Xiaoying, the sister, recruited prostitutes in Shanghai who then paid an "information fee" to have their contact details posted online while her brother, He Juyou,“stayed in Sichuan employing nine web developers and marketers to solicit customers online.”
The case is “being processed and judgements should be released by the end of the year,” adds ChinaTechNews.
