PeerGuardian offline
p2p news / p2pnet: If you’re one of the millions of people who noticed PeerGuardian’s new Phoenix Labs site is down, and has been down since yesterday, don’t worry : ) This isn’t a repeat of earlier difficulties.
Rather, it’s, “DNS probs as far as I’m aware,” PG’s Tim Leonard tells p2pnet.
“Nothing sinister!!”
Leonard says if things aren’t back to normal soon, “I’ll be switching methlabs.org, peerguardian2.org, peerguardian2.net and blocklist.org to a notice page”.
(Thanks, Kelly)
Stay tuned.

Use emails, snail-mail, phone calls, faxes, IM, stop them in the street, blog. And if you’re into organizing, organize petitions, organize demonstrations and then turn up on your local political rep’s doorstep, making sure you’ve contacted your local tv/radio station/newspaper in advance.

Why is it every time there’s the slightest issues with PeerGuardian.. Protowall fanatics come in and suggest using that instead.
PeerGuardian is better, at least according to most people.
The site being temporarily offline due to DNS problems isn’t a reason to switch to something which most people say is inferior.

Because the people at Bluetack work there ass off to keep people safe, they are not just an app with dumb lazy ass people behind them. If Phoenixlabs was a add/spyware removing organization they would be a roage company cause of lack of private investigating. The are based completely on Bluetacks lists, and cry about every little thing bluetack does. Blocklists.org is a joke.
Lets face it, they are a bunch of lazy people with an app that a person named Phrosty made. There app may be good, but what good is an app without the ip’s to block that come from Bluetack.
I don’t trust them or their waterdown lists. And neither should anyone else.
If ya all know what is good for ya, support The more stable “Bluetack”
LOL, watch them cringe over the truth, and try to spin Bluetack’s lists as theirs. They do it all the time.
