Porn purveyors avoid video iPod
p2p news / p2pnet: With Apple’s grossly over-touted and over-priced video iPod on the loose, some pundits predicted purveyors of porn might see it as a way to increase their online exposure and indeed, SuicideGirls decided to go for it.
However, “the adult industry is largely staying away,” says Wired News.
“With a couple of exceptions, porno producers are in no hurry to provide stag movies for the iPod, thanks to fears of a public outcry and a government crackdown.”
Because when it comes to the iPod, L.R. Clinton Fayling, president of Brickhouse Mobile, a Denver company that’s licensing adult material for mobile phones, said there are few rewards and many risks, states the story.
“There’s already a public perception that we (in the industry) are preying on youth,” he said. “Without safeguards you open yourself up to more scrutiny from government and parents’ groups.”
Wired points out that, “Porn on the go presents land mines for viewers as well as producers. Although there is no federal law prohibiting public viewing of adult content, some state and local governments have banned displays of pornographic films in automobiles.”

“Porn on the go”. Great catch phrase. Once the hype and publicity has died down surrounding the video iPod the “industry” will start creeping in with content. They will make little screen cover privacy gizmos that limit the field of view like you can get for monitors. It’s a whole new market. They will not be able to resist.
To boldly go where no man has come before…

I really don’t see a problem with porn. I mean after all, if God wanted us to wear clothes, he would have made us born with some. Same with sex. If sex was so bad, why is it natural?
