Apple clocks up video sales
p2p news / p2pnet: Proving there’s more than one born every minute, Apple boasts it’s sold a million video excerpts and shorts at $2 a throw since it started offering stuff for its video iPod.
Top downloads include music videos from Michael Jackson, Fatboy Slim and Kanye West; Pixar’s “For the Birds” and “Boundin’”; and episodes from TV shows “Lost” and “Desperate Housewives,” says the company.
Apple is demanding and, apparently, getting, between $300 and $400 for each video iPod.
Unbelievable.

I heard that Walmart is coming out with $400-$500 LAPTOPS… Cool.
I’m gonna get myself a AMD HP Laptop….
That’s an awesome promo price… but I’m not sure if the rumors are true. If so, I’m getting myself a laptop where I can install Debian and play DVDs and just about any video…. Makes iPods seem extremely expensive… ;(
