At $300 for the basics and (wired controller, AV cable) and $400 for a console with all the bits and pieces, 20 gig detachable hard drive, wireless controller, headset and HD AV cables, it’s expensive.
Then you have to buy the games for $50 dollars each, unless you want the Perfect Dark Zero ‘limited collector’s edition’ for $60.

I´m assuming that is in US$, which would translate to $350 for the basic, and $470 for the premium version.
Not to mention it won´t play either HD-DVD nor Blu-Ray nor EVD… SO WHY BOTHER WITH SUCH CRAP????
And the game selection is limited.

well I pre-ordered this
but due to the in my opion crappy selection of launch titles
I cancelled my pre-order
my suggestion would be unless you are a MS fan boy is to wait before getting this

Why did you pre-order in the first place? I guess it sucks to be MS, to have so many orders CANCELLED!!! HAHAHAHA
The CUT out the specs just to make it in time for X-mas… the high buying season, but I feel this will be one of those bad business decisions, since at such a high price people WILL RESEARCH the Xbox SPECS first ————– and when they find out it is crippled and there will be a dozen different versions ————- they´ll either hold off or buy a PS3 or Nintendo REVOLUTION (which is actually cool, and economical and FUN AT PARTIES).

Why not just buy the Nintendo Revolution instead… its gonna be like half the price… and it actually offers lots of new stuff… or at least get the PS3… even if Sony hasn’t been that good recently. XD
Considering how much I dislike MS, I’ll never buy a 360.

Shut it fanoys. there is no evidence that the xbox is going to fail. the start up list of gmes is the best there has ever been on any console, so why criticise it. The global launch has never been done also and on top of that the first wave of games will always be worse than the latter batch.
You all seem to have forgotten the PS2’s dismal launch (in terms of games available and quality of games).
Wait until you hear more on the PS3. at present we haven’t even seen true gameplay graphics and those two feeds of armoured core actually proved the xbox 360 to be better looking than the ps3 version.
