EFF Badge For Your Blog

p2p news / p2pnet: The EFF is running a Get A Badge For Your Blog membership drive – with EFF blogger PJ bottoms as an inducement ; )

“When it comes to p2p, the EFF has been there,” Fred von Lohmann told p2pnet. “We’ve published a legal guide for developers, we created the RIAA subpoena database in the bad old days of DMCA subpoenas, we’ve been coordinating and assisting in the fight against the RIAA’s 15,000 lawsuits against file-sharers.

“And last, but not least, we have been counsel in the MGM v Grokster case, fighting for the rights of technology companies to continue distributing p2p technologies.”

On the site, “Here at EFF, we’re fighting hard for bloggers’ rights,” says the foundation, going on, “we’re litigating the reporter’s privilege for online journalists and we are working hard to defend bloggers’ rights to free expression, political speech, and anonymity, just to name a few.

“But we need your help to spread the word, grow our membership and keep fighting. So we’re launching a special membership campaign specifically for bloggers. We’ve created a button for you to put in a permanent space on your blog that declares your support for bloggers’ rights, and for the work EFF does to support them. The button links to our Bloggers’ rights campaign, http://www.eff.org/bloggers/join/.

“We’d like to offer all bloggers who put the button up on their blog a discounted EFF membership. In addition, each month we’ll choose one of our favorite blogs to highlight in EFFector, our online newsletter, which reaches over 50,000 people. And the owners of the ten blogs that bring in the most donation money to EFF will receive a pair of EFF’s blogger pajama bottoms and an EFF blogger t-shirt. You can support Bloggers’ rights, spread the word about EFF, and become a member at a lower rate.”

Nice to see people are vigilent in preserving our rights… The “big media’ CABAL is taking away our rights of FREE SPEECH and the right of SEEKING THE TRUTH.

Iraq war and Palestinian atrocities are prime examples. White phosphorous that MELTS YOUR SKING UPON CONTACT was and IS used against IRAQIS civilians alike. They LIED and denied it, but AFTER SO MANY VIDEO EVIDENCE AS WELL OF PHYSICAL EVIDENCE IN THE FORM OF BURNED HUMANS AND DEAD CADEAVERS they had to “admit” the truth.

NOW, that is what this is all about. The BLOGGERS TOLD THE TRUTH, the big media (92% controlled by Z****ists) LIED!

That is the bottom line. That is why this FIGHT against the cartel is so important. That is why the CABAL FEAR the internet, because of 1) it’s semi-anonymity, and 2) it’s truthfulness and information.

Yay for Fred von Lohmann and EFF. EFF is in fact on the side of the real angels in every fight. They see the ball and kick it. I will proudly wear the badge at http://www.RagingBlog.com, and will urge my daughter to use it at http://www.bybeautydamned.net. As was said in revolutionary times in this nation, “We shall all hang together, or we most assuredly shall hang separately.” Let’s burn our bridges, declare our allegiance to free thought and free speech, and let ‘em know, as Zapata said, that we would rather “die on our feet than live on our knees.” Then and only then will we defeat the monstrosity of monopoly media that seeks to drown all dissent in a miasma of doubletalk that conflates religion, politics, sex and entertainment into a single undifferentiated stew of bullshit. To the (digital) barricades!
