Swedish? Vote for Jens !!!
p2p news / p2pnet: You are, of course, familiar with the TV program called Idol.
We have it in Sweden too and after weeding out all but 11 finalists, the program is now weekly. Every week the judges comment, but the viewers decide who leaves.
Currently, four contestants remain, and one of them is Jens.
Every week Breitholtz (one of the judges) says Jens has to go. But week after week, Jen remains.
Could it be…?
No. But could it!?!?!”…
The winner gets a record contract with Sony BMG. So does anyone see a great way to pay them back for the rootkit?
Yep ….
Save Jens http://www.raddajens.info/ is a campaign to keep Jens in the show for as long as possible. And he’s been carefully selected so that Sony gets stuck with the biggest loser.
It’s still three weeks too early to see what will happen, but the word is going out.
www.raddajens.info is so far aware of 118 forums that have linked to the campaign, as well as seven online newspaper articles.
If you’re in Sweden and you want to help, call 099-41403 or SMS “JENS” to 72400 (still Sweden).
I have no clue how, or even if, you reach these numbers from other countries.

and why do we hate poor Jens so much that we would stick him with Sony? Couldn’t we do something less painfull to him like beat him silly with bats?

Obviously Swedish Reality-show fans do not know what happened in similar shows abroad. France is especially interesting on this topic.
In 2001, The 1st edition of “Star Academy” (an Idol-alike show) almost had Jean-Pascal as a winner, a loosy lifeguard who sang even worse than your little sister. Altough Jean-Pascal did not win the game, his album sold 600.000 copies…
In spring 2005, the 3rd edition of “French Idol” was won by Myriam, a good singer but that didn’t want to sing what BMG wanted her to sing.
They simply gave the price to the one who lost the final (Pierrick) and dropped Myriam.
So even if your “Jens” wins,
- He could anyway sell loads of albums.
- SonyBMG could make someone else win even if he wins.
Another question :
- Never tought that this “RaddaJens” could be a secret tactic by SonyBMG to mediatize his favorite contestant (someone with whom they could sell loads of CDs and drop quite soon because of his lack of talent, like it happenned to our national Jean-Pascal) ?
