While I really dislike so called space spoof type movies, I was really impressed with the graphics, special effects, and set design. Hollydud had better look out! The independents are improving, and Hollydud will soon be forced to compete. I believe that the media cartel fears downloading and peer to peer precisely because of independent work. Independent creators do not have to cater to the petty peeves of spoiled actors. They do not have to prop up the lavish lifesyles of producers, execurtives, and others who take their cut from the top.

The last Hollydud movie I saw was War of the Worlds (It was OK, but not worth the $7 to see in the movies), and the only reason I watched it was because my brother brought it over, and it had Dakota Fanning in it. I believe that the effects in Star Wreck were just as good if not superior to that of War of the Worlds. Yup, Hollydud, be afraid, be VERY AFRAID.

If you haven't seen this spoof, do. It is on par with anything Hollydud puts out. Better it is free. It shows that you don't have to have tons of bucks to throw at making a movie to get a movie.

My hats off to the makers of this one. It was excellently done.

Kudus for the speed of the download from the original site also. If you have good broadband you can be watching it in less than a 1/2 hour. Try it, you'll like it.
