Iraqi insurgents like the Net

p2p news / p2pnet: Iraqi insurgents have boosted the number of web postings chiefly detailing bombings or attacks on Iraqi and US forces to 825 last month from 145 in January, says to the U.S. military.

"The Web postings are also growing more sophisticated and frequently include video, soundtracks and professional editing," USA Today has Army Major General Richard Zahner, "the top U.S. military intelligence officer in Iraq," saying.

Nearly all Iraqi insurgent groups have "media teams responsible for posting statements on the Internet and creating videos for Web and television broadcasts," intelligence officer Colonel Pat McNiece is quoted as saying.

Al-Qaeda in Iraq "has the most sophisticated media team and sticks close to the facts, at times even following up with corrections, McNiece said".

Fearing insurgents are "gaining an advantage in the information war, the U.S. military has stepped up efforts to counter the publicity onslaught from the insurgents," says USA Today. But, "The U.S. military is looking into reports that Iraqi news media were paid to run stories generated by the U.S. military without revealing the source," states the story.

"At the center of the controversy is a Washington-based contractor, the Lincoln Group, which was paid by the Pentagon to promote positive news about U.S. efforts in Iraq."

The U.S. government monitors web sites, "but rarely makes an effort to shut them down because it’s so easy for terrorists to set up new ones," USA Today has said Ben Venzke of IntelCenter, a Washington-area think tank that monitors terrorist declarations and does work for US intelligence, saying.

    Hey Jon,

Don’t get too “excited” since many, many of these “insurgent websites” are actually proven to be Isreali and American front organizations. It is a lame attempt at “false flag”.

I recommend to you readers to look up, the words “false flag”… and see what you find out. You’ll find it tremendously educational!

It is interesting you brought this article up, since those who CONTROL the Riaa and Mpaa, also have a “hand” in Middle Eastern matters… I devilish hand indeed ;)

It is best I let you readers educate yourselves, since someone else telling you something is not as effective as witnessing first hand for yourselves!

    Cheers!!!

Really? Proven by who? The bunch of crackpot conspiracy theory sites that come up when I search for ‘false flag’??

“many, many of these “insurgent websites” are actually proven to be Isreali and American front organizations.”

Your line above may the single dumbest thing I’ve heard in a LONG time or maybe ever. You’re implying the video of our troops being killed is a conspiracy by the Israeli and American intel agencies?

Put your tin foil hat back on and stick to your own bizarre reality. I think the X Files is on SciFi right now, you’re missing it.
