Firefox Flicks Contest
p2p news / p2pnet: "Do you dream in scenes and setups?" – asks Mozilla on its newest site.
"Write dialogue on the subway?
"See an ad on TV, and think, "It’d be so much better if they’d…"?
If you answer Yes to the above, you could be on your way to becoming one of the people who’ll soon be trying to sell Firefox to the unwashed masses, because Mozilla is inviting would-be ad designers to enter its Firefox Flicks Ad Contest
"For initial consideration, you will need to upload a compressed, half- NTSC-resolution, full frame rate MPEG-4 video for entry into the contest," it says. "A QuickTime-compatible format for the Web version is preferred. Media uploaded should be less than 10 MB in size. When your entry is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for mailing the full-size media to Mozilla."
So what’s in it for you, apart from promoting Firefox?
You could win either a $5,000 gift certificate to B&H, "the premier photo and video source for professionals,” a 9X Media multi-screen display, or an AlienWare media PC.
