It you are in New York, Texas or anywhere else that is suing Sony for distribution of the SONY XCP rootkit
Please ensure that this information is reported to the relevant party with examples. This will give those parties even more leverage over Sony.

Rafael, I'm with you on this. The bas####s at sony have screwed your family big time, and are still doing so, if anyone believes anything sony says, they deserve all they get, and no amount of jiggling words can change sony's "wonderous" reputation among the people who can actually think for themselves.

Bigbiz promises are just like political promises. They're worth nothing. They're just meant to sound reassuring, without actually committing anyone to actually having to do something.

sorry man, the government apparently thinks sony can do more with your song then you can. it's sad it is able to happen.

start a website, making thousands of sony songs availble, including the ones you claim ownership too, see what happens.

Why should Sony stop selling anything that is illegal?

I told Sony to stop making a CD with a song owned by my family back in 1998. Sony's reply letter of February 12, 1998 to me said:

"As per your request we procceded to place in suspense the song "Desde que te marchaste" by Guillermo venegas Lloveras."

Back then we thought Sony was making only one unlawful CD with our songs, without a license. Now we know the were making 17 records.

To this date, almost 8 years later, Sony has not stopped the sale any of the unlawful records. Even after we filed a lawsuit against Sony in 2001, Sony has not stopped, even though they have admitted they were making the records and the records ares till sold all over the Internet and record stores.

See here:
http://rafa_venegas.web.prdigital.com/venegas_v_sony_lawsuit.htm

Here are some questions:

Does anyone really expect Sony to keep their words?

Is it collective delusion to expect that Sony will keep its word?

Is the American public more deserving from Sony than my family here in Puerto Rico, where we have no say on the crappy American copyright (and other) laws and the crappy Federal Courts that practically govern us by decree?

Any opinions?
