As this case, and others in the RIAA Sue ‘em all litigation, hurtles frenetically toward a conclusion which will, we have now become optimistic, find in favor of the defendants and OM victims, I wonder if those early victims, who were forced to succumb to blackmail efforts, will find any way out of their morass. Will they be able to disavow their pledges to pay the extortion? For those who paid in full, will they be able to recoup? Or does their early, naïve yielding to corporate America’s strong-arm tactics cause them to forever bear the cost of their misguided judgments?

These sort of shinaggians will in the end be the downfall of much of the infringement cases. The sort of attitudes being displayed by the RIAA is the same sort of attitutes that judges are very used to seeing displayed by the criminal element brought before them. It won't take very long for the judges to wise up to this sort of display.

This is starting to get amusing. The riaa is frantically running towards the light at the end of the tunnel. Totally ignoring the sound of the engine and the frantic warning signals from the driver in the oncoming train.
