My family has spent over $250,000 to protect our music's rights and all we have is a monetary award of $21,000 from two music publisger who massively stole our music and then threatened us with a $1,000,000 (yes one million dollars) lawyer fee after alleging they won the case. If you ask me it should have cost us nothing if the legals system was not money driven and the judges cared more about the victims of crimes than defending the criminals. The victims of crimes, as is santangelo should, ideally have to spend nothing. All that is required is that the judge ask the plaintiffs what is the allegation and what is the prof. Ah, but the system is designed so that many legal hours are required of both parties. The system was designed by jackasses. What a shame that American have supported this system for such a long time. Hope that the Santangelo case helps in getting a revolution to throw out the "honorable" bums in the courts.
