But the lists of legit IPs is growing, and soon these lists will become worthless, since your favorite site will become blocked. This will mean that you as the user will have to sort it all out.”

Could you tell us how, blocking legitimate “P2p sites” can make the blocklists “worthless”?

To be honest, I’d be happier with blocklists that block the WHOLE internet, except maybe the user’s ISP IP range(s). Could be done with some sort of script I’m sure…and then, provide indepth documentation of how, why, and when to use an allow/exclusion list to “allow” IPs to connect.

Users need to be more aware of the computers they are connecting to on the Internet.

Agreed, xforce needs to go on bluetack blocklist. I don’t trust him one bit knowing that peerguardian has sold us out with their pawned “improved” blocklist. Bluetack do their homework. I’m keeping the old source code for prosperity whilst they sell out there p2p brothers for a dollar.

There is no HTTP blocklist moron , the blocklists cover all internet protocols , depending on the software used.

And even though p2pnet has failed in it’s attempt to do any actual research, actually obviously they couldnt be bothered to even find out before posting this trash , Bluetack still wont be adding them to any blocklist.

I’m a p2pnet reader , if I sent in an email claiming that jon was a convicted paedophile would you still publish that without a care in the world, or would you want to know if it was true or not.?? ..

I bet you wouldn’t see it posted as news.

This story proves to me that this site is sham , all you are good for is copying news from other places and subjecting your visitors to bad advertisements.

I used to be Admin of STF/FTC, I never received any threats of any kind when Moore was asked to join our staff, (We asked him) Moore has given a fantastic contribution to the P2P scene and doing so without any requests and has always been of good character in my experience. I retired from the administration as it was too time consuming, I knew I could do so with people like Moore working on the site, are you sure its Moore or someone else making requests or the like here?
