Surfing instead of working
p2p news / p2pnet: About 20 % of government staff in Johor, Malaysia, spent their time at work surfing for music instead of doing their jobs.
“State Secretary, Datin Paduka Norsiah Harun said such misuse of the Internet especially downloading songs, was one of the main causes for poor work performance, besides slow work due to a slow computer system,” according to Bernama.
“An observation by the Johor ICT said 20 per cent of the staff often downloaded pictures, computer games and surfed pornographic materials which could affect the office computer system,” she said.
