VNU buys The Inquirer
p2p news / p2pnet: The Inquirer has been bought by VNU Business Publications Ltd, the London publishing arm of VNU Business Media Europe (BME) says, well, The Inquirer, which was launched in 2001 when The Register co-founder Mike Magee left, well, The Register.
"This deal is a great fit for The Inquirer and for VNU Business Publications," says Magee.
No details were given about how much VNU paid, or about anything else.
The Inquirer will now join such illustrious publications as Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter.
VNU’s Business Technology Group comprises three cross-media market leading titles aimed at professionals in the IT industry, Computing, IT Week and CRN, says, well, The Inquirer.
