Law enforcement regularly pose as young children on the internet to catch child molesters/offenders. In fact, I remember a story of a civilian wife who poses as a young girl and have gotten a ridiculous amount of arrests...I can't quite remember the number, but it was around 30, but that was a couple years ago.
