Dancing with Elvis

p2pnet.net News:- A new dimension has been added to karaoke.

EyeToy Groove.

An ‘EyeToy’ is a small camera that sits on top of your TV and plugs into Sony’s PlayStation2.

“The motion sensitive camera films you as you stand in front of the tv, putting your image on the screen in the middle of the action. Then you use your arms, legs, heads, bottom … in fact, any part of your body to play the games. Cool, eh?”

Now Sony has a new ‘EyeToy’ through which you’ll be able to “dance along to 28 songs” licensed from Elvis, Madonna and Jessica Simpson, among others, says a Reuters story here.

“EyeToy: Groove” will be released in the spring for $29.99, or $49.99 bundled with the camera, which connects to Sony’s PlayStation 2 video game console and lets players move around and have those motions translated into actions on screen, states Reuters.

“Groove” players will score points by following prompts on the screen and following a song’s beat. The game will offer both single and multi-player modes.

Um, yeh. Cool.

Another ‘game’ featured on Playstation2 is Manhunt, banned in New Zealand. The ’star’ is a “voyeuristic weirdo” with a “thing for disturbing video and is hell-bent on ensuring that you provide him with what he wants”. Among other things, this includes, “basically directing you in his own personal snuff film”.

Manhunt + EyeToy = What?

Dancing with Madonna has to be an improvement.
