Telnic believes that’s the case and accordingly, has proposed .tel domain name with approval to enter negotiations with ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigning Names and Numbers, already granted.

"Launch of the domain name is anticipated to be the end of 2006," says TMCNet.
