		<description>The banking industry has such a bad rep in Oz that most of us would consider the banks to be the pirates of this story. I&#039;m serious, for a few months maybe even a whole year, Oz&#039;s big 4 banks were considered less trustworthy than used car salespeople. Now i think they&#039;ve managed to claw their way back up above the used car dealers, but only just.

Oz is not the country to walk into a room full of strangers and proudly announce that you work for a major bank. 

Assuming anyone believes you, you may find yourself on the receiving end of a deathly silence or a beating. But like i said, thats only if they believe you. So few people are employed by the banking industry in Oz these days, the most likely reaction you&#039;d get is &quot;Yeah right, bullshit. Noone works for them anymore. At least not unless you&#039;re here on holidays from India.&quot;</description>
