Hollywood runs wild

p2p news / p2pnet: “Under the predawn sky on June 29, 2005, federal agents armed with arrest warrants and Glock handguns banged on the door of the house at 38244 Hastings St. in Fremont, Calif. ‘FBI!’ they shouted. Their target was a heavyset 24-year-old biker named Chirayu Patel, alleged to be a leader of the ‘Boozers’ and a handful of other underground gangs that illegally copy and load onto the Internet blockbuster movies such as Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and Batman Begins. Patel’s dad answered the 6 a.m. wake-up call, FBI officials say. Ten agents swept the house, guns drawn. Patel was found in his bedroom, where he was cuffed and arrested.”

Wow. Good stuff, huh? Just like the movies, Glocks at the ready. America’s finest in action, serving and protecting.

The lead paragraph sensationalises a Hollywood inspired Business Week rehash of a hugely farcical ‘pirate bust‘ dating back to last summer.

“How undercover FBI agents nab the bootleggers who threaten the movie biz,” is the snazzy sub-head.

Because with the blessing and enthusiastic backing of the Cheney/Bush administration, the Big Six movie studios, not to mention the Big Four record labels, now routinely use state and federal enforcement agencies as entertainment industry cops.

Their task? To make sure the Hollywood fat cats stay fat.

But it doesn’t stop there.

US law enforcement officers in cities such as Los Angeles are already stretched to their limits trying to do their job — to protect citizens and their property.

However, that’s of no concern to Time Warner, Viacom, Fox, Sony, NBC Universal and Disney. LA is their town and they’ve suborned the city’s police officers, using them as industry rent-a-cops whose primary task is to protect Hollywood.

And not content with that, the studios are also turning the US into a Big Brother state where, shades of George Orwell’s 1984, citizens turn in other citizens for imaginary crimes.

Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) interrupted their normal duties to arrest a 49-year-old woman for supposedly trying to cam-cord part of Tom Cruise’s latest disaster, Mission Impossible: III.

She was ratted out by other people watching the movie.

In Taipei, “Taoyuan County Police officers, accompanied by Motion Picture Association (MPA) Taiwan representatives, arrested a 35-year-old man attempting to illegally camcord Mission Impossible: III,” brags the MPAA.

Accompanied by Motion Picture Association (MPA) Taiwan representatives? Yes, unbelievable though it may seem.

And it gets worse.

“Hong Kong’s High Court on Tuesday ordered four Internet Service Providers (ISP) to disclose the personal details of 49 people suspected of downloading three local movies without authorization,” says the Middle East Times.

The court gave the ISPs 21 days to come up with the names, addresses and identification numbers of the individuals to three Hong Kong film companies, says the story.

And while police forces and courts around the world deligently look after Hollywood’s business, funded by local tax-payers, muggers, rapists, robbers and thieves literally get away with murder.

oh please… who’s the sensationalist one now? I sense the pot calling the kettle black.

Just fucken FASCISM, HELL-LIKE, and sickening!! The part that struck me the most was their guns drawn when they entered the home. Are you fucking kidding me!! Guns drawn when entering someone’s home who wasn’t even a violent criminal threatening the lives of others or police officers.

They don’t even draw their guns in all murder and rape arrests. They often only draw their guns when they feel the suspect is potentially armed and dnagerous trying to get away. Pretty FUCKEN PATHETIC that they draw their guns over being bribed from the FAT CAT Holleywood Cartels!! Officers being bribed by corporate interests should be a crim in of itself. Let alone have their guns drawn!!!

FASCISM, POLICE STATE, “BIG Brother” becoming a reality world wide!!! What must we do!! We must stand up and refuse to let this happen!!

I read an article several weeks before this one, different site completely. It was about an author who was writting about the scene, the actual scene and the p2p networks and how it all came to be. Which is quite intresting once its published. What the writer done, was interview an actual scener without revealing his identity, and the writer will show how greedy and vicious are the cartels and how Big Brother is becoming a reality. Since money drives the world, the cartels are able to rule it, the writer warns of this. Will this become a big hit? It should, and I surely hope so. If it does become a hit, then the cartels wil certainly take a major plow from this, and people will become much more aware of what the cartels are doing.

However, I do have sympathy for those who can’t spell sympathy and who utterly and completely misunderstand the article they just read.

No one was d/ling and then profiting. In fact, there was no mention of anyone making any profit at all…no bootleg dvds, no street corner booths…and really, the only ones ripping anone off, are the ones who are supposedly within the law, pimping their over-priced, over-hyped and always grossly underwhelming product…the MPAA and those they represent.

LET THE WORLD BE A FREE PLACE TO LIVE….ALL YOU MOTHERFUCKING MPAA OR RIA JUNKIES
