E3’s video game heroines
p2p news / p2pnet: Missing from E3: T&A.
"The video game industry’s annual trade show in Los Angeles opened its doors to its exhibitors on Wednesday with organizers ordering women staffing the booths to cover up or face a $5,000 fine," says Reuters ; )
"Banned are nudity, partial nudity, bikini bottoms or any sexually explicit or provocative conduct, according to the handbook from The Entertainment Software Association, or ESA, which owns and operates the E3 Expo."
Apparently, in January, the ever-pure ESA outlined, "tough new penalties to enforce decency rules" under which violaters are first given a verbal warning and if they don’t meet the new standards, are fined.
But, "Despite the new rules, there was no shortage of exposed skin, patent leather and knee-high boots," says Reuters.
"Many exhibitors dressed women like video game heroines and there was a group of women wearing sexy nurses’ outfits."

The NSA is eaves dropping on anyone they want, Bush and his gang are using old laws to side steps the constitution and E3 is worried about a few exposed navels and some cleavage.

“Decency” rules???
Ok looks like Orwell was a little early in his predictions, but we seem to be right on track. I just wish he’d never written that damned book. I’m sure mr prez’s advisers are getting most of “his” ideas from it.
