Dell with Skype
p2p news / p2pnet: Having already announced a pre-loaded deal with Google, Dell now says buyers of two of its new systems will get auto-Skype.
That’s to say the eBay-owned product, named in a StreamCast lawsuit, will be on board the Dell computers, like it or not.
Skype will come bundled with Dell’s new XPS M2010 ‘portable entertainment PC’ ($3,500) and its XPS M1210 ($1,300) laptop, says the Mercury News.

NOTE: p2pnet is being sued by Sharman Networks and Nikki Hemming, ceo of p2p application Kazaa. “The suit is a little odd, since P2PNet.net is a champion of peer-to-peer file-sharing, which is the same business that Kazaa is in,” says The Globe & Mail.
