The code is there, everyone sees it, and everyone can put the code on a diet, the result... programs that work using as little resources as possible. After a lot of fiddling back and forth, between several versions of ACDSee, between 5 and 8, and even 8 Pro, I have finally settled on ACDSee 5.0.1.0006 (available at http://www.oldversion.com/ ) because with my AMD64 with 1GB RAM, it works pleasantly fast, whereas 8 Pro, takes no less than 6 seconds on its first cold boot to actually show its GUI, what a bloat, maybe when I have an AMD256 with 1TB of RAM, 8 Pro will move fast. ^BLOATED!
