Mitch at the RIAA - Actually I prefer the story about how, when I was chief counsel for Congress' copyright subcommittee, I inserted the "sound recording" amendment to an unrelated bill. That amendment made all music recordings as works for hire, robbing musicians of their right to get back their masters, after 35 years.
