Goldman Sachs v Goldmansex
p2p news / p2pnet: Is nothing sacred?
Investment bank Goldman Sachs wants a Dutchman to change the name of a sex-oriented website called Goldmansex.com, says Reuters.
Rob Muller, 32, who founded Goldmansex and is its sole employee, said ‘Goldman’ was a nickname given to him by his friends because: "People thought I was always lucky in my life," says the story.
Goldman Sachs, however, fears Goldmansex might be confused with Goldmansachs.com.
“Muller said he had hired a lawyer and would fight to retain the domain name because he does not think it should cause confusion,” says Reuters, which has him asking, “Would their clients really think this is some sort of new product line?"
