Before ……..

p2pnet.net News:- This Reader’s Write was posted under the RIAA: Undesirable Element story.

Before ….

Before there were record labels.
Before there were contracts.
Before there was commercialism, cash , cocaine, and extortion ..

There were musicians.

These are people that create music.
The REAL artists do it because they must.
It beckons to them,
Burns in their blood.

It is an artist’s joy and burden.

I know .. because I REALLY AM a musician.

The RIAA, and it’s associated labels, do not, nor have they ever

CREATED anything …

They exploit. Nothing more.

When they die,
Musicians will still play, artists will still create.

Having been involved in studio multitrack recording for over 30 years, I totally agree. The music that artists & musicians create will forever live on…those who wish to profit from this may not…Regards…

  2. Reader's Write Says:

errrr wait, I thought the musicians beget the cocaine?

  3. Reader's Write Says:

Ohhhh to go back to the day’s before Big Music came and ruin things!!!

  4. Reader's Write Says:

    Right on.

And just like record companies screw the artists and have killed music….

Add to that music publishers and the mafia that controls them.

These exist only to get the sogs of the songwriters through plain theft and no-way-out misleading contract. Just like the artist-record company contracts. Then the royalty payments are a scam.

It’s time to liberate the music.
