Guy Cloutier free

p2pnet.net News:- Famous Quebec TV and music producer Guy Cloutier has been paroled after serving 19 months of a 42-month sentence for sexual assaulting two children, says The Toronto Star.

One of his victims is said to have been former child star Nathalie Simard.

Cloutier was identified as the man who’d allegedly attacked Simard after justice Maurice Laramée lifted a publication ban.

He admitted abusing the two children.

Though the parole board said, “you were the producer and the lead actor in sexually deviant scenarios that stretched over several years, without regard for your victims,” it, “acknowledged he has made progress through counselling courses in prison, and has a firm understanding of the pain he’s caused,” says the story, adding:

“Cloutier’s first parole hearing in April was abruptly derailed when National Parole Board officials received an email from a third alleged victim. Two other complainants then stepped forward, but after a police investigation, the Crown decided not to file further charges.

“Simard filed a $1.2-million civil suit against Cloutier last year but later settled out of court.”
