New p2p network now online
p2pnet.net News:- There’s a new p2p network challenger on the block.
P2P Innovative (P2Pi) says it’s now officially online with the iP2P network, “engineered from scratch to address the needs of the expanding world of distributing large media files and the fast growing P2P community”.
And Warez P2P is using the iP2P network for its next generation p2p system in the upcoming version 3.0, says P2Pi.
The new netowrk, “infuses our proprietary network technology with DHT and BitTorrent compatibility to create a fully decentralized, secure community that is highly scalable and efficient,” says the company, going on:
“iP2P was built to evolve seamlessly as new application layers and advanced protocols are added.”
P2Pi says it’s licensing its proprietary iP2P network to Net and media companies for media distribution and live content streaming.
“P2P Innovative will also be engaging innovative joint venture projects using the power of the iP2P network,” it states, saying it’s looking for partners in the software and hardware industry who want to implement its iP2P network or technology in areas such as: file distribution; worldwide media streaming; VoIP; live events; massive multiplayer gaming; mobile device p2p betworking; shared CPU processing; community building; virtual BitTorrent tracking; and, video / audio submissions and sharing
Current top non-exclusive licensees of P2P Innovative’s technology are Warez.com and Warez P2P, says P2Pi, adding:
“iPhox, the top VoIP alternative to Skype, has licensed the iP2P network for its upcoming upgrade. P2P Innovative is helping with the integration of P2P media sharing, entertainment streaming, and advanced conferencing within the iPhox communication system.”

Having the same address could possibly mean nothing more than they share the same lawyer/accountant which is the address that most corporations are required to give when registering.
What I wanna know is whether this network is open, whether there is any anonymity features and whether they will be policing file transfers…. thats gotta be a whole lot more interesting (and relevant) than who is or who isnt advertising on this site.
