UK and US to attack Net porn

p2pnet.net News:- Britain and the US will act against pornographic web sites featuring necrophilia and other extreme sexual acts., and which were implicated in the trial of a man who killed a young special needs teacher in England.

"Initial steps were agreed by British home secretary David Blunkett during a meeting with the US deputy attorney general Jim Comey, at the department of justice in Washington DC," says a Press Association report here.

The woman was strangled by musician Graham Coutts hours after he viewed porno websites, says PA, adding that a spokesman for Blunkett said the legal implications of a crackdown were "more complicated" than banning child pornography, for example, because of the first amendment in the US, which establishes freedom of expression.

"But possible action could involve work with internet service providers and credit card companies, whose services enable users to pay to access porn on the web," he said.

This might actually be a good idea. If people have to pay their ISP extra for access to porn, there would probably be a great reduction in the stuff.
