Firefox 2.0 delayed
p2pnet.net News:- Firefox 2.0, slated to be ready on August 15, won’t now be released until October with a second beta due on August 23.
“Some of the browser bugs which programmers are still working on involve visual refresh, tab overflow, spell check and security features,” says vnunet.com, adding, “The new browser includes phishing protection to prevent users being fooled by fake websites, the ability to re-open tabs that have been closed by accident and better support for RSS feeds.
“Bookmarks will now feature micro-summaries to provide a quick précis of frequently changing web pages, enabling users to see which pages have been updated.”

For the most part, I agree on what you said there.
It’d be nice if the installer came with a small variety of most popular extensions that could be selected for installation (or something that way).
