90-Nanometer SuperFlash
p2pnet.net News:- Flash memory technology SST (Silicon Storage Technology) and TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company)say they’ll offer the first licensable 90nm embedded flash technology.
SST’s 90nm SuperFlash technology is for use in applications such as 64-bit MCU cores, high-speed ASICs, and multimedia ICs, say the companies in a statement.
“This high-performance, high reliability technology utilizes a split gate, source-side injection, poly-erase memory cell that is capable of true logic VDD read operation to address the demand for lower power and higher density applications.”
Samples will be available in 2007, they say.

Lower power requirements, higher storage capacites… who knows.
PS: Damn this stupid string thing. Can’t tell zeros from O’s, ones from I’s, etc. It’s really starting to piss me off to the point that I may give up replying altogether.
