Digg goes down
p2pnet.net News:- Digg diggers were out of luck for about 20 minutes this morning when the site went down, "while we make some changes," it said, recommending The Onion as an alternative, among other web pages.
There, readers could find such winners as, Bush: ‘History Cannot Judge Me If I End It Soon‘.
It also points to Askaninja, which in turn asks, "What Can You Do To Help Save The Internet?" and among other things, you can Sign the SaveTheInternet.com petition, says the site.
You can. And on that, SavetheInternet.com supporters took to the pavement last week in 25 cities nationwide, delivering petitions to their senators and urging them to oppose the phone and cable company attempt to gut Net Neutrality.
"From Buffalo to Fayetteville, Orlando to Seattle, the broad outpouring of public support for Net Neutrality came as the Senate’s August recess ended, and elected representatives return to Washington and the business of making laws," say campaign organizers.
The message to senators? "Don’t sell out the Internet. Serve the public interest. Support real Net Neutrality."
Meanwhile, back to Digg, we were hoping they’d added a few more categories such as RIAA and MPAA, but no such luck.

This isnt news. The digg.com website goes down reguarly.
One thing that I have noticed is that ever since you started getting sued, now you start posting anything and everything. The site has quickly gone from p2pnet to technology net, it is so bad to the point where honestly I am considering removing p2pnet.net from the RSS feed, cmon now, is the ps3 launch date getting delayed (http://p2pnet.net/story/9794) really news that should be here? Sorry for this rant but its getting annoying.
